Stephanie Rodriguez is a Dominican writer, illustrator, and graphic novelist originally from the Bronx, NY, and currently based in Los Angeles. Encouraged by her self-proclaimed bruja Tía, she pursued her passion for art at the School of Visual Arts, where she discovered her love for visual storytelling. In 2023, she published her debut graphic novel, Doodles from the Boogie Down, and is now focusing on a career in TV writing.

As a 2025 fellow of the Fred Rogers Productions Writers’ Neighborhood, Stephanie is concentrating on writing for children aged 6-11, preschoolers, as well as adult animation and live-action projects. She is dedicated to blending her sharp comedic voice with heartfelt storytelling and her unique artistic style to celebrate the experiences of girls of color, reflecting the diverse backgrounds of the community in which she grew up.
